Commercial Cleaning & FM licensing in Colorado.

Colorado has no janitorial registry and no state contractor licence reaching cleaning, but it does license the application of pesticides for hire, and disinfection falls inside that. The Department's rule under the Pesticide Applicators' Act covers any person other than a private applicator who engages in the business of applying pesticides for hire, and expressly reaches any business selling services that include the application of pesticides; the Department separately publishes that EPA regulates disinfectants as pesticides. A licensed business must employ a qualified supervisor. One wrinkle to settle in writing first: the Department's published category list contains no antimicrobial or sanitation category, so ask the programme which category it will examine you in before you bid disinfection work.

Licensing authority: Colorado Department of Agriculture, Division of Plant Industry - Pesticide Applicator Certification and Licensing Program. Confirm current rules with the agency.
