Commercial Pest Control licensing in Georgia.

Georgia issues three credentials, Company License, Certified Operator and Registered Employee, in categories including Household Pest Control (29), Wood-destroying Organism Control (30) and Fumigation (28). Registered Employees need 10 classroom hours and 70 on-the-job hours before the exam, and to renew every two years they need 8 CEUs each for Household Pest Control and Wood-destroying Organism Control, or 3 for Fumigation, or they must pass a re-exam. The same state rules apply in Augusta, so candidates licensed there can work in Atlanta without re-qualifying.

Licensing authority: Georgia Department of Agriculture, Structural Pest Control Commission. Confirm current rules with the agency.
